An immersion in nature in which to live the regenerating experience of Forest Bathing (Forest Bathing, Shinrin-Yoku), practising meditative walking, mindfulness with nature, arborea practice (an original practice of movement in connection with trees) and other creative and musical practices, in connection with nature.

The Nature Coaching Academy is a training school for professional coaches, unique in the international scenario, because we combine coaching with body work (embodiment) and deep connection with nature (contemplative practices).

The workshop at the end of April will be co-created by Diana Tedoldi with @Monica Gagliano, a scientist who studies plant intelligence and the way plants communicate with each other and with us.

Other co-creators will be Claudia Antonelli, Maia Cornacchia and Nicola Castelli.

On 30 April Monica will also lead the Cocoa Ceremony, a particularly deep and transformative meditation experience to open up a new dimension in our relationship with ourselves and the plant world.

New Italian Workshops

Join us in Italy for a series of workshop aimed at experiencing the power of Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) in synergy with Nature Coaching and Forest Coaching®.

Each workshop starts at 10am on Friday and end at 4pm on Sundays, for a full flow of nature immersion with the trainers of The Nature Coaching Academy.

Mindfulness with nature, contemplative practices and self-discovery in connection with trees, rivers, springs, mountains and the magnificent urban gardens in the countryside and in the heart of Milano City.

If you want to start your complete training as Forest Bathing Guide, Nature Coach or Forest Coach, you will choose 3 workshops among these 4 available dates (more dates will be added over the next few months for Fall and Winter 2021 and Spring 2022):

• 4-5-6 June and 27-28-29 August 2021: The Power of Forest Bathing and deep nature connection with rivers, springs and magnificent urban gardens in the heart of Milan City. Where: between Treviglio, Milan and Fara Gera d’Adda – Italy.
• 25-26-27 June and 20-21-22 August 2021: The Power of the Wild. We’ll be based in a small property in the heart of Lessinia, the region of the Pre-Alps near the city of Verona. The whole area has been home to Neanderthal tribes for over 30.000 years: in this area our ancestors have been living, hunting and connecting with nature leaving traces of their culture. Cascades, ancient caves, streams and mountains will be the partners of our adventures, along with deep silence in the peaceful garden of our host, night adventures in the woods, experiencing instinctive archery and eating together around the bonfire.

The four workshops will all be different, with some recurring practices that are the foundation of our approach to forest bathing, deep nature connection and nature-based coaching.

We can’t wait to welcome you to our next cohort of students!

We have so far been training more than 50 nature connection and forest bathing guides and Forest coaches, since the start of our first edition in Italy in 2019. Then Covid came and we had to stop all our nature immersion until now, doing lots of online learning (with lots of frustration!).

But we’re now all set to get back to nature and complete all the programs that are waiting to be finished.

Our courses to become Forest or Nature Coach, Forest or Nature Ambassadors are the ideal path for all those looking for expert mentoring and learning about deep nature connection and coaching outdoors, in synergy with nature.

Si usa spesso il termine giapponese Shinrin-Yoku al posto della sua traduzione “Forest Bathing” o “Bagno di foresta”, perché è proprio in Giappone che questa pratica ha ricevuto validazione scientifica.

Qui un programma governativo di sviluppo della cosiddetta “Medicina Forestale” ha infatti preso piede a partire dagli anni ’80 ed è culminato in numerose ricerche medico-scientifiche che hanno dimostrato l’impatto positivo dello Shinrin-Yoku sul benessere delle persone.

COSA NON È IL FOREST BATHING (SHINRIN-YOKU) E COSA È “CONNESSIONE CON LA NATURA”

Spesso sento chiamare “Forest Bathing” esperienze che non c’entrano proprio nulla.

Chiariamo subito: fare un Bagno di Bosco non è fare una passeggiata o un trekking nel bosco.

Il Forest Bathing è un’esperienza di ascolto e immersione sensoriale profonda nell’atmosfera della foresta, grazie alla quale cambiamo completamente il nostro stato di percezione e consapevolezza, e si attivano risposte a livello biologico, neurofisiologico e psicologico che trasformano letteralmente il nostro corpo, la nostra sensazione di noi stessi e della vita intorno a noi.

Per questo, connettersi con la natura è un’esperienza che trasforma profondamente la nostra esperienza del mondo e della natura, cui noi apparteniamo.

Grazie al Bagno di Bosco e alle altre pratiche di connessione con la natura, torniamo a sentirci vivi in un tessuto vivente di relazioni che avvolge la Terra, e in cui siamo sempre immersi, anche quando non ci pensiamo.

Se fai una vera esperienza di Bagno di Bosco, non puoi più vedere il Bosco come lo vedevi prima.

Lo senti parte di te, e tu ti senti parte del bosco, e in questa riconquistata connessione nasce il sentimento di Biofilia, quel senso di affiliazione e appartenenza al mondo naturale che condividiamo con tutti gli altri esseri viventi.

Come quando ci innamoriamo di una persona vogliamo fare di tutto per il suo bene, innamorandoci della Natura e della sua bellezza desideriamo fare di tutto per proteggerla, rispettarla e garantire la sua vita. Questa è Biofilia.

Oggi gli scienziati parlano di sesta grande estinzione di massa, con la quale migliaia di specie ogni anno si estinguono per via dei cambiamenti climatici provocati dalle attività umane.

Diventa Forest Coach e creiamo insieme un movimento che faccia innamorare le persone della Natura, per radicare in questo sentimento di interconnessione un nuovo stile di vita, Life-Friendly, cioè amico della vita, in tutte le sue manifestazioni.
